Support Gardiner Trail Alliance this Giving Tuesday!

As the end of 2024 approaches, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the growth and success of the Riverbend Trails at Gardiner Park. Seeing the increased use and love for the trails reminds us why our work matters—it’s a testament to the time, effort, and resources our volunteers and supporters have invested.

In the early stages, fundraising was challenging due to our pending 501(c)(3) non-profit status. During that time, several Gardiner Trail Alliance board members covered operating expenses like insurance, administrative fees, and trail improvement materials out of their own pockets to keep the vision alive.

We are thrilled to announce that our 501(c)(3) status is now fully approved!

With this milestone, we have ambitious goals for 2025 and we need your help to achieve them. This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to support our mission and help us raise $3,500 by the end of the year. Every dollar directly supports our all-volunteer organization and keeps the trails thriving for the community.

Riverbend Trails has a Flow Trail!

We are thrilled to announce that Riverbend Trails now has an incredibly fun flow trail thanks to Hudson Valley Trailworks

We are thrilled to announce that Riverbend Trails now has an incredibly fun flow trail thanks to Hudson Valley Trailworks! What is a flow trail? IMBA defines them as “Flow Trails take mountain bikers on a terrain-induced roller coaster experience, with little pedaling and braking necessary. This style of trail typically contains features like banked turns, rolling terrain, various types of jumps, and consistent and predictable surfaces.”

The team at Hudson Valley Trailworks donated their time, machines, material and expertise to make this a safe and fun trail for riders of all ages to enjoy. We dare you to ride the trail without smiling at least once. Please note this trail is one way starting by the parking lot. Session it by riding back to the start on Warblers Way.

Gardiner Trail Alliance is excited to share that we have been awarded a ExtremeTerrain Clean Trail Grant. A project as ambitious as ours requires significant time and resources. We thank ExtremeTerrain for this grant. We used this grant towards purchasing culverts to fix troublesome drainage issues on our trails.
